Simply stated, Bryan Allen is a family man, a working man and a pastor. I am just an ordinary guy who has been immensely blessed to accomplish extraordinary things while housed in a very unorthodox body. The effects of being born with multiple, congenital birth defects afforded me a very bleak prognosis for what little life span was expected. However, I chose to use these seemingly dismal 'defects' to achieve some God-glorifying effects! Now at age 53, God continues to empower my initially pronounced disadvantages to His advantage by helping others to embrace both their strengths and weaknesses. In so doing, I am blessed to lead others to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ while simultaneously helping them to know that God yearns to use all that they are and all that they are about in order to fulfill His grand plan for them. Not only does God use our strengths but to no lesser degree, He in His sovereignty and omnipotence uses our weaknesses as the often overlooked and untapped gems we possess. God is good and so is life! I earned a B.S.B.A from Kennesaw College and a M. Div. from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. I currently reside in rural Alabama in the town of Duncanville with my precious wife and our youngest son. Our oldest son lives in nearby Tuscaloosa (ROLL TIDE!). I am in my 34th year as a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I am in my 25th year as the System Safety Consultant of a rural water system. I have pastored three churches over a span of 24 years. I also ministered through vocational evangelism for two years. I currently serve voluntarily as an Associate Pastor of a nearby church. The Lord willing, I hope to pastor a church for the Lord again someday. I pray that this book will be a blessing to all who read it.
