It explores events such as the French and Industrial Revolutions, the awakening of national movements in India and Iran, the expansion of colonialism, the American Civil War, the Russian Revolution, developments in China and Japan, and the reshaping of Europe. It also examines major events of the twentieth century, including Gandhi’s movement, the rise of Atatürk and Fascism, global economic crises, the Chinese Revolution, scientific progress, the struggle for global leadership between the United States and Britain, and ultimately the Second World War.
