Bangladesch ist ein bevölkerungsreiches Land, dessen Bevölkerung hauptsächlich von Reis als Nahrungsmittel abhängig ist. Im ganzen Land wird Reis angebaut, und es gibt verschiedene Arten von Reismühlen, in denen der Reis zu Reis verarbeitet wird. GIS ist ein nützliches Instrument für die Datenanalyse, die Visualisierung in Karten und die Auswahl von Standorten für verschiedene Zwecke. In dieser Studie wird die räumliche Verteilung der Paddy-Produktion und der Reismühlen in Bangladesch analysiert und ein kartografisches Modell erstellt, mit dem die Auswahl von Reismühlenstandorten automatisiert werden kann.Durch wiederholte Ausführung des Modells wird eine stabile Gruppe von Standorten ermittelt. Die räumliche Verteilung des Reisanbaus und der Reismühlen in ganz Bangladesch und speziell im Bezirk Joypurhat wird analysiert und in Karten dargestellt. Die räumliche Autokorrelation dieser Elemente wird durch Cluster-, Ausreißer- und HotSpot-Analyse untersucht.
