L’obiettivo principale di questo lavoro è analizzare il funzionamento dell’agricoltura urbana, con particolare attenzione agli orti comunitari, e verificare se rientrano nella logica dell’economia solidale. Il lavoro discute anche brevemente la definizione del concetto di agricoltura urbana a partire da una base teorica, definendo i principali vantaggi e svantaggi della pratica con un caso di studio a Campinas. L’obiettivo specifico è stato quello di comprendere le pratiche di autogestione delle risorse a livello comunitario, analizzando, in base ai principi di solidarietà e cooperazione, come si svolgono le relazioni sociali ed economiche e come si riqualificano i significati del lavoro.
