Ghosts Of The Past

A hidden past. A new beginning. And a love that seems impossible.Estranged from his family, with no friends he can trust, Caleb Jones moved to the remote Colorado town of Ford Hollow to escape his past. Using his only marketable job skill, he is now a helicopter pilot for a local business that hauls cargo, people, and shows tourists the Grand Canyon from the sky. Discontent, he buys an old farm and settles into what passes for, for Jones anyway, a normal life.Veterinarian Kasey Kozlovsky is excitedly embarking on a new phase of her life. She’s now the sole owner of her own veterinary clinic. She fell in love with the small town and is determined to be successful in serving the locals’ pets and the farm animals that are fixtures all over the countryside. A simple house call changes what she thinks she wants. Jones knows he’s not the man for Kasey. Not only is she younger than him, he’s lived a life most people can’t even imagine. But she calls to something deep within, a yearning to be normal, to once again be part of a family, and to love a woman made just for him. But the man only known as Jones, a ghost in the military machine, can’t escape his past. When his past and future collide, he’s not willing to let Kasey go. He must now protect her from a ghost that is chasing a ghost. From the Author: For those of you who read Hidden Away, The Cantwell Quartet Book 3, you’ll recall the character Jones. It was never my intent that Jones would have his own story, but when the idea for Ghosts Of The Past was forming, Jones was the man who stepped up to play the hero in his own story. Please note this is an open-door romance, approximately 70K words.
