Das Buch konzentriert sich auf Geldpolitik und Wohlfahrt in Afrika. Dazu haben wir die beiden Dimensionen des Wohlbefindens berücksichtigt, nämlich das objektive Wohlbefinden und das subjektive Wohlbefinden (Glück), gemäß der Lehre von Joseph Stiglitz et al. (2009) und Frey et al. (2002). Um unsere Ziele zu erreichen, verwendeten wir ökonometrische Instrumente (in unserem Fall OLS und DMC). Aus dieser Arbeit geht hervor, dass die Geldpolitik in Afrika durch Wirtschaftswachstum einen positiven Effekt auf beide Dimensionen des Wohlergehens hat.
