As a Mom who has five children and nine grandchildren, I understand the love that a parent has for their children and the love one has for their spouse or significant other. The morning of 9/11, I was in tears as I watched the horrific events unfold. I was fearful for the members of my family that were in New York City and the thousands of the sons, daughters and spouses that were victims in the attack, those being rescued and the rescuers. I wanted to write this story to give peace to those who perished. I hope that family members of those that lost their lives will also find peace in this story.
