Das Buch handelt von einem Forschungsexperiment. Dabei wurde Schülern ein Fußballtraining angeboten, um ihre motorischen Fähigkeiten zu verbessern und Stress abzubauen. Bei der Stichprobe handelte es sich um Schüler (Jungen) im Alter von 12 bis 14 Jahren, die auf schulübergreifender Ebene Fußball spielen. Das Fußballtraining dauerte 8 Wochen und wurde entsprechend der Belastbarkeit der Schüler konzipiert. Das Training half den Schülern auch, ihren Stress zu reduzieren, da sie sich glücklich fühlten, wenn sie auf dem Platz miteinander spielten.
