From Fortitudes to Heros is a documentary of the triumphs and 'Honors' of the Negro Foot Soldiers during World War II, as told by Annis Evans, and confirmed through historical documents. Annis was seriously injured while on active duty. He received the Good Conduct Medal, a World War II Victory Medal, an American Theater Service Medal, and he also received a European African Middle Eastern Service Medal. He was honorably discharged in November 1945.
