The Theme of the book is the struggle with tropical diseases, especially malaria. Mosquitoes are one of the most common causes of malaria. Malaria is one of many tropical diseases in Africa, Central America, South America, Far East, South East Asia, Middle East and Asia, and Indian Subcontinents. The malaria virus is transmitted by a single bite from an infected mosquito.
