Trotz zahlreicher verabschiedeter Bodengesetze ist der Zugang von Frauen zu Landbesitz im ländlichen Burkina Faso noch immer gering (22,52%). Dieser geringe Zugang von Landfrauen zu Landbesitz schränkt ihre Selbstbestimmung in Bezug auf Ernährung und Finanzen ein und beraubt sie der Mittel, um ihre eigenen Bedürfnisse, die ihrer Kinder, Haushalte, sowohl in Bezug auf Ernährung als auch Gesundheit zu decken. Die logistische Mehrebenen-Regressionsanalyse, die mit EDSBF 2021-Daten durchgeführt wurde, zeigt, dass der Zugang von Frauen zu Landbesitz im ländlichen Burkina Faso zu 16,14% durch den Gemeinschaftseffekt erklärt wird. Um den Zugang von Frauen zu Landbesitz zu verbessern, können die identifizierten individuellen (Alter der Frau, Familienstand, Parität/Geschlecht der Kinder, Erwerbsstatus, Ethnie, Religion) und kontextuellen (Wohnregion, Anteil der Frauen, die an Entscheidungen in der Gemeinschaft beteiligt sind) Faktoren nützlich sein, um sie in den Interventionsstrategien zu berücksichtigen.
