Il presente lavoro di ricerca è stato intrapreso con l’obiettivo di sviluppare, ottimizzare tramite DOE e valutare una formulazione di dentifricio alle erbe che incorpora la saponina come tensioattivo naturaleIl dentifricio alle erbe è stato preparato utilizzando eccipienti idonei e valutato per vari parametri fisico-chimici e prestazionali, tra cui aspetto, pH, viscosità, capacità schiumogena, abrasività, spalmabilità e studi di stabilità. Questi parametri sono stati valutati per garantire la stabilità, l’accettabilità e l’efficacia del prodotto per l’igiene orale quotidiana.Sulla base dei risultati della valutazione, il dentifricio alle erbe sviluppato è risultato sicuro, stabile e funzionalmente paragonabile alle formulazioni in commercio. Lo studio supporta la fattibilità dell’uso della saponina nelle formulazioni di dentifricio alle erbe e ne evidenzia il potenziale per l’applicazione commerciale nei prodotti naturali per l’igiene orale.Nel complesso, i risultati di questo studio suggeriscono che la saponina può essere utilizzata con successo come tensioattivo naturale nelle formulazioni di dentifricio alle erbe. Il prodotto sviluppato è risultato sicuro, stabile e funzionalmente efficace, supportando il suo potenziale come alternativa alle formulazioni di dentifricio convenzionali contenenti tensioattivi sintetici.
