Cette enquête fait partie d’une étude plus large qui visait à suivre les diplômés du cours d’éducation physique au Centre d’éducation physique et sportive (Cefd) de l’Université fédérale d’Espírito Santo (Ufes), de 1995 à 2010. L’univers de cette phase de l’étude était composé d’un total de 395 diplômés de 1995 à 2002. L’instrument utilisé est un questionnaire avec des questions ouvertes et fermées qui ont permis de dresser un profil du groupe étudié. Il systématise les aspects de la formation et de la carrière professionnelle de ces alumni à travers deux thèmes : les connaissances abordées dans la formation initiale et les perspectives de carrière et la professionnalisation de l’enseignement. La chercheuse partage quelques inquiétudes sur le scénario complexe dans lequel sont plongées les questions de formation et d’intervention en éducation physique, en apportant des données qui révèlent l’histoire académique et professionnelle des diplômés du cours d’éducation physique du Cefd/Ufes.
