Graham Clinch graduated with a BA Magna cum laude from Villanova University in 1964 and earned a Masters degree in Psychology from Sydney University in 1974. IBM provided a grounding in Human Resources prior to his leading and directing the HR departments for two multi-national companies. Subsequently he worked as an independent HR consultant with employee selection being a major service. He has been a member of the Australian Psychological Society and Chair of the Queensland branch. He also served as a member of the Queensland Psychologists' Registration Board. In conjunction with the Australian Institute of Management he initiated the education program, 'Psychology at Work' as well as lecturing at Griffith University to students of Business and Psychology. Graham's interviewing skills have been developed from both the psychology of human communication and years of experience. They have been honed through individual interviews, working with interview panels, and developing group assessment centres. His interviewees have included: air traffic controllers; CEOs; intelligence analysts; electricians; sales representatives; marketing executives; high school principals; accountants; mining engineers; and ICT specialists - to name a few. Graham's challenge and motivation is to help both applicant and employer make wise decisions about working with each other.
