Questo studio analizza i finanziamenti pubblici per la salute e l’accessibilità dell’assistenza sanitaria per le famiglie Kinois nella Repubblica Democratica del Congo. Il basso livello di finanziamento del settore sanitario e il basso livello di reddito delle famiglie ostacolano l’accesso a un’assistenza sanitaria adeguata, dati gli alti costi che comporta. Di conseguenza, le autorità pubbliche e i loro partner tecnici e finanziari esterni devono intervenire nel settore sanitario per garantire che le famiglie vulnerabili siano coperte da spese rovinose.
