Das vorliegende Buch handelt von der Emeritierung des Forschers Wufela und besteht aus vier wesentlichen Teilen:- biobibliographische Elemente für eine bessere Kenntnis des emeritierten Forschers;- verschiedene Texte des CRESH im Zusammenhang mit der Vorbereitung dieses Ereignisses;- vier wissenschaftliche Vorträge, die der emeritierte Forscher für diesen Anlass vorbereitet hat. In diesen Vorträgen kehrt André Wufela zu seinen bevorzugten Forschungsthemen in der afrikanischen mündlichen und schriftlichen Literatur zurück, während er in dem allerersten Vortrag seine Erfahrungen als Zeuge von mehr als fünfzig Jahren wissenschaftlicher Forschung präsentiert und dabei natürlich sowohl einen Rück- als auch einen Ausblick wagt;- und schließlich, um das Nützliche mit dem Angenehmen zu verbinden, kommen zum Schluss noch einige Bilder, um die Zeremonie zu untermalen.
