En estas páginas comparto mi experiencia investigando, en una institución privada de Educación Superior en Guatemala, cómo las metodologías activas favorecieron el aprendizaje de los estudiantes durante las modalidades asumidas durante la Pandemia de Covid-19: Enseñanza Remota de Emergencia y Blended Learning. A lo largo del recorrido, docentes y estudiantes compartieron sus experiencias y percepciones al trabajar de forma virtual. Ambas modalidades supusieron una serie de retos para toda la comunidad educativa, pero la resiliencia, el compromiso, la dedicación y el esfuerzo de docentes y estudiantes por adaptarse al cambio y afrontar los retos con determinación, fue clave para alcanzar un trabajo que aseguró la calidad educativa y la continuidad de los programas de formación. Para los participantes de la investigación los efectos de las metodologías activas fueron evidentes: se generó espacios de reflexión docente que, a su vez, fortalecieron el diseño de experiencias de aprendizaje, el trabajo autónomo, la autorregulación, la metacognición y el fortalecimiento de competencias digitales.
