Questa ricerca analizza l’insuccesso scolastico, con l’obiettivo di comprendere i principali fattori che hanno contribuito all’alto tasso di insuccessi negli esami finali di grado 10 dell’ESVMM nell’anno accademico 2021. Lo studio è stato condotto nelle scuole secondarie Manjacaze e Samora Machel, entrambe situate nel villaggio municipale di Mandlakazi. Per condurre la ricerca è stato utilizzato un approccio qualitativo e una tecnica di intervista per raccogliere i dati. La ricerca ha coinvolto un totale di 30 partecipanti, tra cui 20 studenti che non hanno superato gli esami finali del 10° anno accademico nel 2021, 10 in ciascuna scuola, 8 insegnanti che hanno insegnato le materie con esami nell’anno accademico 2021, di cui 3 all’ESEMA e 5 all’ESSM, e 2 direttori didattici del 1° ciclo, 1 in ciascuna scuola.
