Verdichtete Blähtone, die einen hohen Montmorillonitgehalt aufweisen, haben auch eine sehr geringe hydraulische Leitfähigkeit. Wenn Blähton mit Flugasche, einem Industrieabfall, gemischt wird, verringert sich die hydraulische Leitfähigkeit weiter, da die Asche-Ton-Mischungen zu einer höheren Trockendichte bei höheren Flugaschegehalten führen. Daher kann flugaschestabilisierter Blähton auch als innovatives Tonauskleidungsmaterial vorgeschlagen werden. Es ist daher erforderlich, verschiedene physikalische und technische Eigenschaften dieses neuen Tonauskleidungsmaterials zu untersuchen. Die Flüssigkeitsgrenze (LL) und der freie Quellungsindex (FSI) sind wichtige Eigenschaften, die bei diesem Tonauskleidungsmaterial untersucht werden müssen. Es wurden experimentelle Laboruntersuchungen an Blähton-Flugasche-Mischungen durchgeführt, die als neues Tonauskleidungsmaterial vorgeschlagen werden. In dieser Monographie werden LL und FSI unter Verwendung von deionisiertem Wasser und CaCl2-, NaCl- und KCl-Lösungen unterschiedlicher Konzentration bei 0 %, 10 %, 20 % und 30 % Flugaschegehalt in der Mischung bestimmt.
