En esta editorial, somos lentas. Es un hecho. Sin embargo, logramos publicar un libro, a veces dos, al año. Es un trabajo que tarda, se hace mano a mano, va y viene, es como bordar, afilar un cuchillo o practicar alguna de estas labores ancestrales. Un ciclo que empieza en la confianza y el método y se va desplazando por otros terrenos, de maneras más abstractas. Exiliados del tiempo lento es un libro paciente, que tardó para existir. Empezó mucho antes del proyecto de esta editorial, con otra forma, espacio, razón, hasta convertirse en un conjunto de ensayos recolectados diez años después de la publicación del libro original: Escritos para desocupados (Sur+, 2013). Vivian Abenshushan es escritora interdisciplinar y vive en México. El día que decidió abandonar su rutina laboral para tener tiempo y derecho al ocio, interrumpió un ciclo de explotación capitalista para pensar nuevas formas de vivir, comer, dormir. Su valiente escritura de guerrilla contra la velocidad agobiante, ante la defensa de una lentitud estratégica (casi bélica), permea esta colección de textos y apuntes. El proceso ha sido más lento de lo que esperábamos entre principio y fin, por suerte. 10
