The aim of this study was to assess the working conditions in a part of the urban cleaning system, as well as sweeping and related services, in a private concession company belonging to the municipality of Campo Grande. For this work, information was gathered from the two main parties involved in the context: employee and employer. Technical and legal provisions relating to worker protection and working conditions in the sector were analysed in order to generate occupational safety recommendations aimed at improving the company.
