L’infirmière en soins intensifs joue un rôle unique et important dans la gestion de la douleur, qui comprend : évaluer la douleur, informer le patient, prodiguer des soins physiques, aider à soulager la douleur en administrant des interventions analgésiques, tant pharmacologiques que non pharmacologiques.
