Cet ouvrage évalue les compétences des professeurs de mathématiques en matière de TIC dans l’enseignement. Trois niveaux de compétences (personnelles, pédagogiques et axées sur la matière) des professeurs de mathématiques dans l’application des TIC à l’enseignement des mathématiques dans les établissements d’enseignement supérieur ont été pris en compte. Le type d’établissement (universités et collèges d’enseignement) a également été pris en compte dans cet ouvrage. Six questions de recherche et trois hypothèses nulles ont guidé l’ouvrage. Une enquête descriptive a été utilisée pour l’étude. Vingt-six professeurs d’enseignement des mathématiques ont participé à l’ouvrage. Le questionnaire demandait des informations sur les compétences personnelles, pédagogiques et disciplinaires des professeurs de mathématiques en matière de TIC. Le questionnaire a été administré aux professeurs de mathématiques et leurs réponses ont été analysées.
