L’objectif général de ce travail était d’étudier l’utilisation des anesthésiques généraux et locaux chez les patients d’un hôpital public. Les objectifs spécifiques étaient les suivants : détecter la prévalence de l’utilisation d’anesthésiques chez les patients hospitalisés ; étudier toutes les formes d’utilisation d’anesthésiques, en comparant les données trouvées avec la littérature scientifique ; détecter les effets indésirables possibles ou les interactions médicamenteuses connues et inconnues parmi les patients utilisant cette classe de médicaments ; surveiller l’apparition des principaux effets indésirables connus de cette classe de médicaments ; enregistrer et signaler les effets indésirables possibles présentés par les patients utilisant des anesthésiques.
