Le sujet est une étude de faisabilité des énergies renouvelables dans la communauté rurale de Catique, dans le district de Gorongosa, province de Sofala, dans la région du poste administratif de Vanduzi, une zone en dehors de la réserve du Parc National de Gorongosa (PNG). D’une part, il s’agit de déterminer un système de production d’électricité durable, viable et répondant aux besoins de la communauté de Catique. Pour ce faire, l’auteur a utilisé les outils méthodologiques suivants : une revue de la littérature, un travail d’enquête et une collecte de données à l’aide du logiciel meteonorms version 7.2 pour collecter les données climatologiques du district.L’étude a été réalisée avec la conviction que les énergies renouvelables ont pour fonction de faire évoluer la communauté sans accès à l’électricité vers la durabilité, en offrant aux habitants un accès à l’électricité.
