En marzo del año 2020 distintas esferas de la vida social se vieron transformadas ante la expansión del virus SARS-CoV-2 y la extensión de la pandemia por COVID-19. Desde entonces se produjeron notables cambios en las maneras en que enseñamos, trabajamos, cuida¬mos o nos enamoramos. Las instituciones educativas experimentaron trazos de continuidad y discontinuidad tanto como la profundización de las condiciones desiguales que antecedían a la pandemia. Este libro no tiene la pretensión de mostrar recetas ni presentar esce¬narios sobre lo que podría pasar con una u otra generación, imponer latiguillos o títulos catástrofe o, por el contrario, excesivamente opti¬mistas sobre todo lo que 'aprendimos' durante la pandemia. Queremos compartir el resultado de una inves¬tigación desarrollada durante la pandemia, con las dificultades y posi¬bilidades que todos y todas conocimos y atravesamos, que indagó sobre una experiencia temporal clave de las sociedades modernas y su insti-tucionalización: la juventud y su recorrido por el sistema educativo.
