L’urbanizzazione e lo sviluppo delle città sono necessari nella società contemporanea, tuttavia questi progressi stanno anche causando problemi urbani, come la mancanza di spazi verdi aperti, problemi di densità, problemi di traffico e sovraffollamento. Inoltre, gli edifici esistenti sono spesso privi di alcune funzioni attualmente necessarie, poiché sono stati progettati in passato. Pertanto, la piazza e gli edifici a uso misto, considerati come uno spazio unitario, sono necessari per menzionare la 'pubblicità' che fa parte delle componenti urbane come concetto spaziale ampio. In particolare, gli edifici a uso misto, in quanto strutture a funzioni multiple, necessitano di uno studio specifico per la 'pubblicità' e la 'piazza urbana'. L’obiettivo di questo studio è quindi quello di riconsiderare il concetto di 'pubblicità' nelle città come spazio strategico per vitalizzare la città. Lo studio comprende l’analisi della connettività tra la piazza urbana e lo spazio architettonico e propone metodi di progettazione per un edificio a uso misto che migliorerà l’interazione tra il contesto urbano e gli edifici.
