Estancias Coreográficas (EC) es un proceso de investigación en danza que impulsa la pedagogía, la creación y la interdisciplinariedad. En la edición EC2016 la investigación aborda el espacio en la danza. Este libro recopila las conclusiones y los caminos de investigación del Espacio-Total investigado en Estancias Coreográficas. Asimismo, complementa los libros 'Espacio Interior' y 'Espacio Kinesfera' en EC. A través de un diseño de investigación acordado con el equipo de bailarines/as, coreógrafos/as y artistas plásticos, las investigadoras-participantes en EC: Alicia Esteve, Katherine Valera, Rocío Menéndez y Cintia Solbes presentan las conclusiones sobre el espacio total-escénico y la metodología, investigadas en EC. La introducción del libro queda a cargo de Leonardo Santos, Elisa Novo, Antonio Crespo y Anabel García, testigos en primera persona del proceso de investigación. Como conclusión, presentamos las narrativas de los coreógrafos/as Yoshua Cienfuegos, Lucía Piquero y Dana Raz, revisadas por Laura Cuervo. Los dibujos del artista V. Banciella y las fotos de Paco Villalta, que ilustran el libro, proceden del proceso de investigación realizado en Oviedo (España).
