Partiendo de y dentro de una gama compleja de perspectivas epistemológicas de Oriente Medio, África, el sur de Europa y América Latina, este volumen presenta un análisis de lo que el autor, influenciado por la obra de Sousa Santos, acuña ’epistemicidios curriculares’, una forma de imperialismo occidental utilizada para reprimir y eliminar la creación de conocimientos alternativos, rivales, en los países en desarrollo.Este ejercicio del poder niega una educación que permita la diversidad de epistemologías, disciplinas, teorías, conceptos y experiencias. El autor describe la lucha por la justicia social dentro del campo del currículo, así como una base para la introducción de una Teoría Curricular Itinerante, destacando el potencial de este nuevo enfoque para la futura praxis pedagógica y política. 10
