Sobre IBD

O principal objectivo do estudo era reforçar o envolvimento dos estudantes na aprendizagem de competências práticas. Os objectivos específicos do estudo eram: identificar e implementar intervenções, e avaliar o impacto de intervenções que reforçassem o envolvimento dos estudantes na aprendizagem de aptidões práticas. O estudo foi voluntário e participativo entre 50 intervenientes, ou seja, 36 estudantes de laboratório, 4 funcionários do laboratório de ensino do hospital, 5 administradores, 3 supervisores de locais de prática do hospital, e 1 ex-aluno de um centro de saúde IV e 1 líder comunitário. As opiniões de todos os intervenientes foram úteis na análise situacional. Durante futuros workshops e análises de processos de trabalho foram identificadas as seguintes intervenções: reforço das demonstrações práticas de retorno, marcação de tempo para auto-estudo prático, colocação de estudantes em farmácia e registos para inventário e gestão de lojas respectivamente, atribuição de período específico para teorias e práticas, fornecimento de competências de aconselhamento pré e pós-HIV.
