Este livro apresenta uma estrutura e uma ferramenta de gestão que permite aos instrutores ensinar aos alunos como resolver problemas nos sistemas, criando um ambiente que atribui sistematicamente diferentes problemas a cada máquina virtual (VM). Os alunos podem então interagir com esta VM e aprender a depurar problemas. A administração de sistemas é uma disciplina académica emergente, mas ainda não existe uma abordagem comummente aceite para ensinar as competências essenciais de resolução de problemas nos sistemas. A pesquisa produziu dois resultados principais: uma proposta de Estrutura Pedagógica para orientar o processo de ensino e uma Ferramenta de Gestão de Laboratório de Rede que é uma prova da Estrutura Pedagógica. Como professor de administração de sistemas de rede, pode ser necessário criar muitas pequenas redes virtuais para ministrar uma aula de redes e ajudar os alunos a compreender e depurar SDNs. A ferramenta que sugiro seria útil para instalar e configurar máquinas virtuais automaticamente. Não precisa de fazer todas as etapas manualmente sozinho. Em resumo, esta investigação apresenta uma proposta para criar uma estrutura pedagógica e uma ferramenta para ensinar competências de resolução de problemas do sistema usando ambientes virtuais recicláveis.
