L’objectif de l’ouvrage est de cibler les problèmes actuels de l’exploitation des carburants fossiles et l’avenir des carburants alternatifs. D’abord, les détailles des carburants classiques conventionnelles et alternatifs sont illustrés. Ensuite la technologie des moteurs à combustion interne est présentée d’une façon simplifiée et claire. Finalement les techniques d’exploitation des gaz alternatifs dans les moteurs sont identifiées.
