In recent times, space technology is being used as a significant tool for Earth observation applications. Satellites and other accessible remote sensing platforms are used for collecting the data. Wide ranges of electromagnetic energy, that are being reflected, transmitted or emitted from the surface of the Earth, can be detected through remote sensing data collection. Implementing further data processing requires suitable detection systems. Space technology has proved to be a successful application in the study of climatic change due to the dynamic comparison between current and past data. This book offers various aspects of climatic change and discusses applications of space technology.
