Mauricio, Marco y Karla son tres estudiantes cuyas vidas cambian a partir del regalo que un extraño les hace. Sin embargo, Sugeyri, una joven con un pasado difícil, los tiene en la mira, pues para cumplir con su cometido, ella debe de hacerse de dicha llave, sin importarle si pone en riesgo la vida como se conoce. Empujados por el destino marcado desde tiempos remotos, los tres emprenden un viaje a través de los tiempos para detener a Sugeyri y descubrir el misterio que existe detrás de una antigua profecía que rodea a ambos 'objetos' y a ellos mismos, conociendo lugares, épocas y personas clave para llevar a cabo su misión.
