Trotz der Bedeutung der Molkereikette für Brasilien haben die Erzeuger immer noch Schwierigkeiten, die Qualitätsparameter und Fristen der Normativen Anweisungen 51, 62 und 07 des Ministeriums für Landwirtschaft, Viehzucht und Versorgung (MAPA) einzuhalten. Darüber hinaus liegt die Produktivität des Landes weit unter derjenigen der wichtigsten Erzeuger der Welt. Die Bezahlung für Qualität hat daher einen starken Einfluss auf die Produktion von Qualitätsmilch, und die Anzahl der somatischen Zellen (SCC), die direkt mit Mastitis zusammenhängt, ist einer der Hauptfaktoren für die Verringerung der Produktion. Daher zielt diese Studie darauf ab, herauszufinden, ob es Beweise dafür gibt, dass die Qualität der gekühlten Rohmilch die Vergütung der ländlichen Erzeuger/Lieferanten der Molkerei X im Süden des Bundesstaates Goiás beeinflusst, insbesondere im Hinblick auf zwei Aspekte: die finanzielle Auswirkung der Zahlung für Qualität (Vergütung), basierend auf den Indikatoren Gesamtkeimzahl (TBC), SCC, Fett und Eiweiß gemäß MAPA’s IN 07 und die Auswirkung des SCC Parameters auf die Produktion.
