Dieses Buch befasst sich mit der Untersuchung des Einflusses der Oberflächenstrukturierung auf die tribologischen Eigenschaften von Polyamid (PA66)-Verbundwerkstoffen. Das Verhalten elliptischer Strukturmuster wird durch Variation der Dichte der Vertiefungen mit unterschiedlichen Ausrichtungen beobachtet, um eine vergleichende Reibungs- und Verschleißanalyse von Polyamid (PA66)-Verbundwerkstoffen durchzuführen. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass der Reibungskoeffizient je nach Oberflächenstruktur erheblich variiert. Einige Strukturmuster weisen eine höhere Belastbarkeit auf. Rasterelektronenmikroskopische Aufnahmen zeigen, dass der Verschleiß der strukturierten Oberfläche unter beiden Schmierbedingungen geringer ist als der der nicht strukturierten Oberfläche.
