This study was designed to assess Public Awareness and Attitude to Radio Benue’s Brighter Days among residents in Makurdi local government. Specifically, the study sought to find out whether listeners are aware of Brighter Days on Radio Benue and to ascertain whether listeners listen to Brighter Days on Radio Benue. The study was solely anchored on the Uses and gratifications theory. Using the survey research method, a sample size of 370 respondents were reached using the questionnaire instrument. Notably too, data gathered were analyzed using simple percentages. Findings revealed that respondents are ardent listeners of Brighter Days on Radio Benue. Findings further indicated that Brighter days programme on Radio Benue is very useful. The study concluded that Brighter Days on Radio Benue is very popular among respondents. The study recommended that usage of Brighter Days on Radio Benue in disseminating information to the public should be continued.
