La reine des abeilles mellifères est la mère de tous les individus de la colonie. Elle a une grande responsabilité pour chaque caractéristique au sein de la colonie. Il faut encore beaucoup d’études pour trouver les meilleures caractéristiques des reines des abeilles mellifères et nous avons déjà travaillé à l’amélioration de celles-ci par des méthodes génétiques. Il existe différentes races d’abeilles mellifères dans le monde et nous avons besoin de plus de recherches sur ces races. Nous avons commencé à étudier les races par la génétique et nous poursuivons nos recherches pour améliorer les bonnes caractéristiques des reines.
