Au cours des dernières décennies, la physique de la résistance et de la plasticité a activement développé la direction de l’influence sur les propriétés mécaniques des solides au moyen de forces non mécaniques - des influences énergétiques externes. L’un des types d’influence non mécanique sur le matériau est un champ magnétique permanent, dont l’influence sur la déformation plastique des cristaux non magnétiques de nature physique différente est appelée effet magnétoplastique. Dans les cristaux diamagnétiques tels que le bismuth, la déformation plastique est réalisée simultanément par glissement et maclage. Cette monographie présente les principales régularités de l’effet magnétoplastique dans la microindentation des monocristaux de bismuth et d’antimoine. Les auteurs soulignent que les effets instrumentaux dans des conditions d’application d’un champ magnétique constant aux échantillons sont totalement exclus.
