Il est indéniable que la pauvreté touche des millions de personnes au Nigeria, malgré une croissance économique appréciable dans le pays. L’objectif de ce travail est de réexaminer l’effet de la croissance économique sur la pauvreté. Le modèle autorégressif à retard distribué (ARDL) a été utilisé dans l’analyse empirique afin de saisir les effets à court et à long terme de la croissance économique sur la pauvreté, tant pour le PIB agricole que pour le PIB non agricole.
