Sobre IBD

O objetivo deste trabalho é fornecer uma visão sobre os efeitos da idade do utilizador nas interações com aplicações para smartphones e tablets. O estudo considerou dois métodos de interação para investigar os efeitos da idade do utilizador na usabilidade de smartphones e tablets de diferentes tamanhos: 1) movimentos oculares/navegação e 2) interações por gestos táteis. Nos estudos de movimentos oculares, foi utilizado um rastreador ocular para rastrear e registar os movimentos oculares dos utilizadores, que foram posteriormente analisados para compreender os efeitos da idade e do tamanho do ecrã na eficácia da navegação. Já nas interações por gestos, uma aplicação desenvolvida para smartphones rastreou e registou os dados dos gestos táteis dos utilizadores, que foram posteriormente analisados para investigar os efeitos da idade e do tamanho do ecrã no desempenho dos gestos táteis.
