O nosso estudo teve como objetivo investigar o possível efeito benéfico de alguns produtos naturais, como a geleia real, em alguns doentes que sofreram transplantes de órgãos e que foram tratados com alguns agentes imunossupressores, como a ciclosporina A, na fertilidade e nas anomalias cromossómicas. Os resultados obtidos indicam que a ciclosporina A induziu muitas anomalias nos espermatozóides e algumas alterações citogenéticas de alguns parâmetros. Também a geleia real obteve alterações benéficas causadas pela ciclosporina A.
