Poetry and Rhythm 'is a small book that systematically explains the basic knowledge of poetry and rhythm. The book summarizes the basic knowledge of poetic rhythm into four parts. The first part explains concepts such as rhyme, four tones, tone, and parallelism. The second and third parts systematically explain poetic rhythm and ci rhythm. The fourth part analyzes the rhythm and grammatical characteristics of poetry. Through Mr. Wang Li’s easy to understand explanation, even those without a foundation in meter knowledge can understand basic knowledge of poetic meter, thereby deepening their understanding of ancient Chinese poetry. This book is based on the 'Poetry and Rhythm' published by Zhonghua Book Company in 1977, and is also edited and compiled with reference to the 1989 edition by Shandong Education Press. In addition, Mr. Jiang Shaoyu, a renowned Chinese linguist and disciple of Mr. Wang Li, was invited to write a preface, which received strong support from Mr. Wang Li’s family.《诗词格律》是一本系统讲解诗词格律基本知识的小书。全书将诗词格律的基本知识概括为四个部分，第一部分阐释韵、四声、平仄、对仗等概念，第二、三部分系统讲解诗律及词律，第四部分分析诗词的节奏及语法特点。通过王力先生深入浅出的讲解，即使没有格律知识基础的人也能了解基本的诗词格律常识，从而加深对中国古诗词的理解。 本书以中华书局1977年出版的《诗词格律》为底本，同时参以山东教育出版社1989年本，进行整理和编辑。此外，特邀中国著名语言学家、王力先生弟子蒋绍愚先生作序，更获得王力先生家人的大力支持
