'Chinese Language Talks ''is an introductory book on Chinese linguistics written by Mr. Wang Li. The book was originally a speech script used by Mr. Wang Li during his summer school at Yanjing University. It underwent three revisions during the Anti Japanese War and was published under the title ''Introduction to Chinese Language''. After being revised again in 1950, it was included in the ''Enlightened Youth Series'', renamed ''Chinese Language Speeches'' and published in the Enlightened Bookstore. This publication is based on the Kaiming Bookstore edition for editing, proofreading, and editing, while also referencing the 1955 Chinese Language Speech published by the Culture and Education Press. During the revision process, I was fortunate to receive the support and guidance of Mr. Jiang Shaoyu, a renowned Chinese linguist and disciple of Mr. Wang Li, and wrote a preface with great enthusiasm.《语文讲话》是王力先生所作的一本汉语语言学入门小书。该书最初为王力先生在燕京大学暑期学校授课时所用的演讲稿，抗日战争时期经过了三次修订，以《中国语文概论》为书名出版。1950年再次修订后编入'开明青年丛书'，改题《中国语文讲话》并在开明书店出版。本次出版即以开明书店本为底本进行理、校勘和编辑，同时参以1955年文化教育出版社出版的《汉语讲话》。本次修订过程中，有幸得到中国著名语言学家、王力先生弟子蒋绍愚先生的支持与指导，并倾情作序。
