Universidad Pedagógica Nacional- Editorial MagisterioLas injusticias sociales son el denominador común de nuestros países y, ante esta realidad, la escuela puede contribuir a reconocer y analizar las causas estructurales que sostienen las formas instaladas de discriminación y exclusión. Estamos frente al desafío de actuar, de construir otros referentes y otras rutas que tengan como horizonte la formación de sujetos y subjetividades más justas. Sin embargo, ese norte no está construido, necesitamos fundar nuestros propios caminos. Menos injusticias educativas generan mayores posibilidades de formar sujetos justos y de educar con y para la justicia social. Este libro es un aporte en este sentido. En la primera parte, presenta las rutas conceptuales para construir justicia social desde la escuela. En la segunda parte, explica por qué apostar por la acción al interior de la escuela, traza algunos principios orientadores para apoyar las escuelas que decidan orientar sus proyectos educativos en la dirección de construir “escuelas justas” y sustenta con resultados empíricos las propuestas pedagógicas presentadas. 10
