Parmi ces approches novatrices, l’ECOSM, équivalent de l’ECOS, a été instauré à la Faculté de Médecine de Tunis en 1998. Ce système repose sur une série de stations où les participants doivent résoudre des cas spécifiques dans des délais prédéfinis. Chaque station vise à évaluer la maîtrise de compétences clés en les décomposant en tâches évaluables individuellement, englobant ainsi les domaines du savoir, du savoir-faire et même du savoir-être.Salué pour son efficacité, sa fiabilité et sa pertinence dans le contexte de l’évaluation clinique, l’ECOSM constitue un instrument juste et authentique pour l’évaluation formative et normative. Malgré ses succès dans d’autres contextes, aucune recherche n’a encore été menée sur son application spécifique en anatomie pathologique.
