Ces changements peuvent se traduire par des stratégies différentes mais tout aussi efficaces les unes que les autres. Il est prouvé que les facteurs agressifs de l’environnement amenuisent les capacités physiologiques des êtres vivants, entraînant dans certains cas des pathologies pour toute activité cellulaire. Ainsi, certaines anomalies biochimiques et physiologiques chez les animaux seraient liées aux changements environnementales.
