In addition to increasing the efficiency of land use, improving the state of melioration and ecology through the use of soil-protective, agrotechnical, agro-ameliorative and other measures, scientific research is being conducted in the world in a number of priority areas, including the prevention of soil salinization in the Aral Sea region, the elimination of landslide consequences, soil fertility modeling, in addition to studying soil, modern technologies of geoinformation systems are used in the development and management, and the corresponding developments are being introduced into production.
