Le présent travail porte sur l’intégration du lieu d’apprentissage extrascolaire qu’est la ferme dans l’enseignement des connaissances sur l’origine et la production des aliments, à l’exemple de l’élevage de porcs et de la production de viande de porc. L’objectif de ce travail est d’étudier les connaissances préalables, les représentations et les attitudes des élèves concernant l’élevage des porcs et la production de viande de porc. De même, il s’agit de déterminer l’importance d’une excursion dans une ferme pour les élèves dans l’acquisition de connaissances et la formation de leurs représentations et attitudes. Pour ce faire, une enquête empirique sera menée auprès des élèves. Celle-ci sera associée à une excursion à la ferme et à une unité d’enseignement subséquente.
