'本书系刘红副教授完成的博士学位论文。作为她的博士指导教师,我早已拜读过其中的内容,了解整个研究过程。在这本书即将出版之际,我想在这里简要推介这本书。本书作者刘红博士从事高校体育教学和学生体育活动组织管理工作20余年,拥有丰富的高校体育工作经验。2005年,她考取了山西大学体育教育训练学专业博士研究生,在职攻读博士学位,并开始研究高校体育风险管理问题。体育风险是与体育相伴而生的一种现象。体育风险往往隐而不显,但又与某种迹象相联系。近些年来,我国高校体育风险事件频发,越来越引起社会的广泛关注。因此,研究高校体育风险管理问题迫在眉睫。关于高校体育风险管理,目前国内外许多学者虽有所涉及,但均未从高校体育教学、体育赛事、体育俱乐部、高水平运动队、体育社团和《国家学生体质健康标准》测试等方面做过系统的研究。而本书作者刘红博士则从上述几个方面对高校体育风险问题进行了全面、深入的研究,并在大学生体育活动猝死、体育活动风险告知和风险评估等方面取得了重要的研究进展。作者简介刘红，女，汉族，辽宁开源人，教育学博士，副教授，硕士研究生生导师。主要从事学校体育、传统武术与养生研究。研究领域主要集中于学校体育风险、中国传统武术养生等方面，主持并参与多项省级课题。研究成果曾获第八届全国大学生运动会科学沦文报告山西省征文特等奖、山西省2008年度'百部（篇）工程'一等奖、第八届全国大学生运动会科学论文报告会一等奖，并在专业期刊杂志上发表多篇论文。
